​Karisma Nails & Beauty opened all the way back in 2004, we are now older than some of the team! Just terrifying. Kerrie and Lisa started working together in a salon in Plymouth city centre, before Kerrie had the bright idea to open a salon that was easily accessible, on a major bus route and that had free parking. Our salon started small, renting the front of the building we are in now, with just a couple of nail desks and a small compact beauty room. How things have changed.

​As the team grew we had the idea to extend our premises and we were incredibly luck to be able to buy the building back in 2015, we'll that started a snowball effect of renovating the whole building. We lived through wall coming down with butter knives, walls and roofs going up to have an indoor toilet after 15 years and surviving trying to get things finished during Covid lockdowns. We are so thankful to our OG clients who stuck with us as all of this happened but we are sure they're glad they did. We now have a Tardis, nail salon at the front, beauty, waxing and tanning rooms at the back, as well as a separate lash bar upstairs for those quiet naps in recliner chairs. This give us a spacious, fresh and bright salon where you won't feel cramped, where you can have those relaxing facial treatments or wax to the max in a room just for that specialty.

Our team pride themselves on their individuality, passion and creativity. We all wear our hearts on our sleeves and we strive to build great client relationships through listening and understanding your needs and requirements. Genuine, straight talkers, who get on like a family, you will hopefully find your people when you meet us. As a fully employed team, we will all support each other, inside and outside of the salon.
