We've been part of the Stoke community for over 20 years, we are a jewel in this traditional, historic and down to earth local community, helping our clients feel fabulous through every stage of life. From beautifully designed nails and creative nail art to lashes, brows, pedicures, facials, waxing, spray tans and laser hair removal, we've got your beauty needs covered. Karisma Nails & Beauty opened its doors in 2004, starting with just a couple of nail desks and a small beauty room.
Fast forward over 20 years and we've grown into a spacious salon offering laser hair removal, nails, beauty, waxing, tanning, lashes and more.
We've been through renovations, lockdowns, growing the team and plenty of changes along the way — but one thing hasn't changed.

We're easy to reach, with 3 hours of free parking available at Church Street, just a two-minute walk from the salon.
We're open Monday to Saturday, with early morning and evening appointments available on selected days.

Karisma Nails & Beauty opened all the way back in 2004, we are now older than some of the team! Just terrifying. Kerrie and Lisa started working together in a salon in Plymouth city centre, before Kerrie had the bright idea to open a salon that was easily accessible, on a major bus route and that had free parking. Our salon started small, renting the front of the building we are in now, with just a couple of nail desks and a small compact beauty room. How things have changed.
As the team grew we had the idea to extend our premises and we were incredibly luck to be able to buy the building back in 2015, we'll that started a snowball effect of renovating the whole building. We lived through wall coming down with butter knives, walls and roofs going up to have an indoor toilet after 15 years and surviving trying to get things finished during Covid lockdowns. We are so thankful to our OG clients who stuck with us as all of this happened but we are sure they're glad they did. We now have a Tardis, nail salon at the front, beauty, waxing and tanning rooms at the back, as well as a separate lash bar upstairs for those quiet naps in recliner chairs. This give us a spacious, fresh and bright salon where you won't feel cramped, where you can have those relaxing facial treatments or wax to the max in a room just for that specialty.
Our team pride themselves on their individuality, passion and creativity. We all wear our hearts on our sleeves and we strive to build great client relationships through listening and understanding your needs and requirements. Genuine, straight talkers, who get on like a family, you will hopefully find your people when you meet us. As a fully employed team, we will all support each other, inside and outside of the salon. Kerrie
Qualified since 1999, Kerrie opened the doors of Karisma back in 2004. Passionate, charismatic, driven, and slightly bonkers have all been used to describe her. She'll never ask anyone to do something she wouldn't do, except feet!
Lisa
Lisa has been with us from the start, the most loyal, hard working and genuine person I know, she will put you at ease during any service you have. A love for food, family and new adventures, she's a straight talker who will help you through life.
Cara
Cara joined us back in 2016, and found her forever salon family. The fastest, professional hands in the Southwest, she will have you looking fabulous in no time. Whether having nails, a pedi or waxing, she knows her stuff.
Brooke
Brooke is our resident lash specialist, with skills to slay. A fully qualified beauty therapist, she joined us in 2017 and has built an amazing following, through her skills, dedication and great customer services, you will love her.
Sophie
Our team expanded in 2024 when Sophie joined us, and she has become one of those people you can not imagine life without. Gregarious, passionate, and highly skilled, she will create nails that you will love.
Kym
A creative, empathic therapist, who will design you amazing nails as well as create lashes for days. Kym joined us in 2024, with a quiet confidence and the skills to build fantastic client relationships.
Emma
Bubbly, artistic and in love with all things nails, Emma recently joined us and has become a fan favourite. Hard working, always looking to learn and building her client base very quickly.
